MAE 4680 is the second course in the Creativity and New Product Development sequence.  Working in teams, you will identify a problem/issue that will benefit from product invention/innovation and use the engineering design process and life cycle analysis to develop a prototype.  You will also perform market analyses, develop a business plan, learn how to protect your intellectual property, identify sources of external funding, and write a prospectus for potential investors.  Teams are encouraged to participate in local/national investor fairs such as TTFF and NCIIA.
