A graduate level introduction to Don Quixote, by Miguel de Cervantes.  The novel will be read in Spanish, in its entirety, along with a selection of pertinent criticism.  No prior knowledge of the novel is assumed.  Familiarity with the history and culture of early modern Spain is helpful.
