The class is an overview of sculpture, architecture, and painting made in the service of Buddhism in Asia.  There will be two examinations (a mid-term and a final) including slide identifications and comparisons and essay questions. You are required to attend your discussion sections.  They will begin in the second week of classes. There will be graded quizzes and other exercises in discussion.
