Chemistry 7030 provides professional development for graduate students concerned with the theory and practice of scientific research. The focus of this course is to prepare students for their Chemistry Ph.D. candidacy exam and to develop appropriate written and oral communication skills. Students are required to attend departmental seminars and colloquia in order to learn about a broad range of current experimental and theoretical topics in chemistry. Each student will prepare several written abstracts and make oral presentations for the class.
