We will provide the linguistic environment that will enable the committed student to acquire the fundamentals needed for meaningful communication in German. We will also provide information on the daily life and the culture of the three main German speaking countries: Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. All four language skills will be emphasized: listening comprehension (in class and in the language lab), speaking (in class and in the language lab), reading and writing (in homework).
