The purpose of this seminar is to guide students in the conceptualization of a proposal that will result in capstone research project.  This is not a research methods or research design course, but a course focused on the application of research understandings, knowledge, concepts and terminology in the development of a capstone research proposal. Therefore, students must have completed all required research courses as prerequisites to this course. It is assumed that prerequisite research courses provide students with considerable information, foundational knowledge and conceptual understandings of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and other relevant topics.
