The objectives of this course is to provide students a thorough understanding of the basic concepts of thermodynamics, (i.e., 1^st and 2^nd law), to help students to apply the basic concepts of thermodynamics to the solution of practical problems, and to help students to develop the skills necessary for a systematic approach to problem solving.
