In the UVaCollab course site:   How to Find the Way

Course Description (for SIS)

Plausible candidates for “most important question” are “How should I live?” and “what should I do?” When we try to answer them, we’re doing Ethics. To answer those questions, though, we need to know things about the world and ourselves. What we can know and how we can know it matter as much as the original ethical questions and constrain how we answer them. When we think about those questions, we’re doing Epistemology. Answer thse questions and you’ve found the Way to Live. We will consider both these groups of questions, and how they overlap and relate, through a selection of classical and contemporary readings.
