Course Description (for SIS)

Greetings Scholars,

The objective of this course is to provide a firm foundation in the study of human resources from the perspective of an HR specialist as well as a practicing manager.  Students will learn the objectives, policies and programs of human resource departments and the challenges they face in carrying out their responsibilities; how they provide equal employment opportunities and add to the quality of work life; and how they recruit, select, train, develop, evaluate, and compensate people.  Students will learn the contemporary role of human resource management delving more into organizational life, current issues, and trends.
