This seminar examines four hundred years of British print culture in all of its technical and thematic diversity. The class meets regularly in the Fralin Museum of Art where we will make use of a major new bequest of British prints. Students will be encouraged to use this collection in their final research paper as we lay the groundwork for a museum exhibition.
