What does political theory have to say to comparative politics? What does comparative politics have to say to political theory? How might answers to these questions inspire better research? To answer these questions, we will investigate how each subfield tackles issues like representation, identity, and human rights, reading mostly contemporary theorists and comparativists who work on a range of geographic regions as well as large-n studies.
