This course will examine biological clocks in vertebrates at multiple levels including theoretical aspects, organismal and system level studies, and cellular and molecular analyses.  Biological timing will be discussed in organisms ranging from lampreys to humans. 

 

There will be required reading assignments from the scientific literature.  Exams will cover information both from lectures and the assigned readings.  Attendance at lectures is mandatory.
