ELA 2559 is a 3-credit course for 3^rd year U.Va. students in the College that provides students with in-depth career exploration, self-assessment, skill development, and search strategies to secure and prepare for a professional summer internship.  Students will connect the skills and competencies developed in a liberal arts education with the core proficiencies sought by employers.  Students will utilize the UVA Career Center resources and counseling staff for guided support.  The Virginia Alumni Mentoring program will be used to connect students with multiple mentors to accelerate finding internship opportunities.
