The proseminar is designed to enhance your critical thinking about research and practice in educational settings. Throughout the semester, you will have an opportunity to read and critique academic articles and presentations and engage in discussions with others about their work in research or applied settings. At the beginning of the semester, we will compare and contrast existing assessments that are used to inform research studies and policies. Later, we will discuss research experiences and prepare materials for entering the job market.
