Chemistry 7010 provides professional development for graduate students concerned with the theory and practice of scientific research. The focus of this course is to familiarize students with faculty research and the tools for research at Virginia. Students will attend a series of faculty research presentations and some additional lectures concerning library and research resources. Students will also attend departmental seminars and colloquia in order to learn about a broad range of current experimental and theoretical topics in chemistry.
