This course introduces the methods, theory, and applications of differential equations. The first half of the course will introduce first, second, and higher order ordinary differential equations, including linear and nonlinear equations and various applications. During the second half we will develop power series methods for nonlinear equations, and methods to treat systems of equations, including the necessary tools from vector and matrix algebra.
