Course Description (for SIS)

Examines issues relating to work in manufacturing, interactive services, management, and professional and expert occupations. Considers inequality at work based on individual skill, cultural proficiency, and social ties; gender; and race and ethnicity. Addresses emerging issues in the social transformation of work.
