The 4881field placement takes place during the first and second semester of the fourth year of the elementary education program or the first year of the Master of Teaching program. This course is designed to provide field experiences helping you link what you have learned in course work with what actually occurs in elementary classrooms. During the spring semester after initial observation visits, you will have an opportunity to teach at least five lessons related to a single topic or skill.
