STS 4500 is the first of two courses associated with the undergraduate thesis at SEAS-UVA. STS 4500 helps you (1) to understand environmental, political, social, and ethical aspects of science, technology, and engineering in history and contemporary society and (2) to present your technical work and its social implications to diverse audience effectively.
