The role of statistics in engineering and science; data analysis and display, estimation; hypothesis testing; statistical quality control, confidence intervals; regression; correlation; categorical data; and analysis of variance. This course will focus mainly on Statistics. An overview of Probability will be provided at the beginning of the course to establish the key ideas necessary to understand the concepts and logic of statistics.
