Course Description (for SIS)
Drama 2230 - Production Lab: Scenery & Props
Students in this course will have the opportunity to apply information learned in Drama 2210 to actual theatrical productions while meeting the following objectives:
1. Students will work on scenery and props in safe, educational, and fun environment.
2. Students will gain knowledge of practical processes of artistic creation and scenic technology for theatre through hands-on involvement in creative projects and practical problem solving.
3. Students will gain an understanding of the collaboration necessary to create a theatrical production, and contribute in a meaningful way to the realization of such a production.
