The seminar is designed to provide students with a field placement and opportunity for discussion and reflection to enhance their understanding of social and academic contexts that influence development. Students will spend one hour weekly in the field this semester, applying principles of educational psychology to a field setting. The class will meet regularly to reflect on successes, discuss challenges and solutions and read relevant literature to inform field work.
