Course Overview for SIS
For those wishing to further master their DSLR camera and create fine art images, this course focuses on continuing the development of the photographic skills gained in “Creative Digital Photography”. It explores the more advanced fundamentals of digital photographic workflow in a non-technical, hands-on format. Advanced operations of DSLR digital cameras are discussed in detail. Applied topics include macro photography, portraiture, studio photography, architectural photography, black and white imaging, introductory HDR and more. Weekly subject assignments will be critiqued in class. Two field trips will be conducted and may require travel of approximately one hour each way. A working knowledge of computers is expected.
Prerequisite: “Creative Digital Photography” or equivalent knowledge.
