Course Description (for SIS)

This web-based course contributes to an understanding of the principles of online learning and online instructional strategies in the K-12 environment.  It prepares students to adapt strategies for a variety of course models (e.g. synchronous and asynchronous), employ innovative teaching strategies in an online environment, and select, adapt, and create rich multimedia for instruction.  An online practicum is included as part of the course.  (3 credit hours) Prerequisite:  Student teaching experience or a teaching license
