During the course of this seminar we briefly review evaluation models and then identify and apply principles of evaluation to the construction of a plan to evaluate a gifted program. We also explore issues relating to the evaluation of gifted programs. During the course of the semester, students will design an evaluation plan, review and design assessment tools, and discuss collecting and analyzing data relating to a program for gifted students.
